Paperwhites

These are the Paperwhites that my hubby got me, they are doing quite well. I planted them on Nov.6.2015, they were planted the same time as the amaryllis that is really going good.

The one that my hubby got me is just about ready to pop. The other ones with the leaves, the leaves have fallen over I have them propped on the wall.

The Paperwhites have taken off! I had forgotten how fast they grow, this one decided to bloom while it was short, so I thought I would share it with you. O:)

I have a friend who buys narcissus bulbs from China and carves them. He keeps them in his reefer in the dark until 21 days before Chinese New Year. Then he brings them out to the grow out area, pots them up and sells them in Chinatown.
