Dicentra 'King of Hearts'

I just wanted to drop a note about the hottest new perennial out there (IMHO). 'King of Hearts' is an interspecific cross between D. eximia (our east coast native), D. formosana (a west coast native) and most importantly D. peregrina, a rare little gem fromn Japan that imparts lovely blue colors to the dense, ferny foliage. Best of all this bleeding heart blooms all season; more than enough good reasons to run right out and get one for your garden!
