What kind of vine is this?

Hi everyone,
I intend to plant this vine for a part of my font yard. Could you please tell me what kind of this?

Location: Hawaii, zone 12a 587 ft elev.

It looks like ivy. There are about 15 varieties.

Some variety of English ivy. Where it is is a good spot for it - bounded all around by sidewalk, etc. I'd be careful about turning it loose in some unbounded spot. It is very invasive/ aggressive. It will take over lawns, cover and smother trees, cover and damage buildings ....

As long as it is somewhere you can mow it, not too bad. It is pretty well controlled by occasional mowings.

Thank you for useful advice. It helps me a lot. I will learn about carefully and start in this weekend.

Ivy should do well in a relatively shady location. They are usually not that dark green in the sun.
