Re: Milkweed

Apple, I am thanking you as I hide under the 'dumb' table! I've got this stuff, more than anyone needs. No monarchs of course! With your info, did a google and there it is.

This sandvine will come up and smother the azaleas along the front, take over the Russian sage at the curb, get wrapped all through the camellia. I've noticed some butterflies, fritillaries perhaps late in summer. Periodically I pull handfuls out so as not to smother shrubs and anything else lurking. I have also noticed the milkweed type pods, and just never explored the connections. Hits head on desk. As for my yard, will never get rid of it completely, just will try to manage it better.

Oh my! That purple one is pretty! That could be one to add to my inventory. In checking, native to NJ and need to check for whole range.
