Amaryllis repotted > Starting to grow

I peeled off the old dead leaves and skin on the bulb, and planted it and have it under the flourescent lamp. It does not show any growth at all, but I still have hope, here is the picture.Image I thought if I put it further down in the pot maybe it won't be as lilkely to topple the pot when and if they bloom.

The bulb looks firm so I have hope too.

I just looked at my bulb and there is a little bit of green in the middle :-() I checked with my hubby to make sure I was not seeing things, and he said nope there is some greenery! I will try to take a picture to show you, but my photography isn't too good for the close up pictures but I will give it a shot. Could not get a clear picture, so will wait until it pokes up further. But so excited :()

Good for you. Maybe it will bloom soon if the bulb is large enough.

There is two bits of greenery showing, so here is hoping, I was told that if the plant had big enoughleaves there might be 6 blooms on each stalk instead of four, if so that is going to be one heck of a flower!
