When can I transplant bleeding heart...now, after flowering or in the Fall?
About a month ago, I dug, divided, and transplanted mine. This was just after the plant was emerging (about 6" tall) and of course, before flowering. The new transplants are now flowering beautifully, so no problems. But we DID have a cool and wet spring (as opposed to punishing hot and dry) so I think that helped some.
