Oleander help

Hey, this is my first post so go easy on me. I have an oleander in my yard that looks like it has a nutrient deficiency of some type.
There are chlorotic spots on the older leaves and some of the leaves have necrotic tips. The younger leaves look fine. The plant gets little fertilizer (If any). I am in north central FL. Thank you for your help.

Hi toy138 :D

I have my old notes somewhere on affects of nutrient deficiencies on leaves. I will have a search through and see which one it is as they can look quite similiar and it is not always easy to tell. Can you just make sure it isn't spider mite. I am not sure what the damage looks like on Oleander but I know they are prone to them. Just in case you do not know what to look for they leave very fine threads on the leaves and the stems and if you wipe down the back of a leaf with your finger it will have a red/brown stain. Doubt wether you could actually physically see them at this time of year.

Thank you for your response. There is no evidence of insects on the plant. I am leaning towards a nitrogen problem but I don't think nitogen deficiency shows up so splotchy.

I cannot find my notes. (have seven folders full of paperwork!) but the RHS trained me so info should be correct. Hope it helps.
