Since no one has won the prize yet, do you have any other pictures of it. Different views? Something that shows which leaves belong with the flower? Are the petals usually curled like that? Is the stem hollow? If it is and especially if the petals are not always curled, I'm thinking some variety of impatiens...

It's gorgeous! How lucky to have something so beautiful pop up unexpectedly

Balloon flower seeds are easy to collect and will blow in the wind. If you want, collect after they dry this year and plant in Spring. Balloon Flowers are some of the last to pop up,so don't worry if you don't see it in early Spring.
