What to do with sprouting grape hyacinth bulbs...

Last fall (October 2011), I received 6 hyacinth grape bulbs for free in the mail. To my surprise, all 6 of them are beginning to sprout (inside the plastic bag in which they were mailed to me). What should I do? Should I go outside and plant them? And if so, how deep should I plant them since they're already sprouting? Or should I plant them in pots indoors? Then again, how deep should they be planted into pots?

I live in Atlanta, so it's been averaging in the 50s and 60s during the daytime. We've had a very mild winter. I even have wave petunias in one flower bed that never died.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Plant them, plant them. They are hardy -- abuse tolerant -- little beauties. :D Anywhere from 3-4" deep should do. Well drained spot of course. They are quite drought tolerant and don't mind 1/2 day sun or dappled shade. If happy, they will naturalize/multiply from year to year.
