Do any of you have experience with canna lilies?
I have a large yellow canna lily. I was attempting to collect seeds from it, just to learn about it.
I opened up pods at each stage of their "lives" to see what the seeds look like.
When they're green, there's about 8 little white pea-looking things inside the pods.
When they're yellow-ing, the pea looking things turn brown but keep in mind they are still very small.
When the pod is black and crispy, the pea things have shrunk to maybe 25% of the original size and are almost invisible.
After looking on google, all the canna seeds I'm finding are large like marbles!!
What's wrong with my canna's seeds?
Hummingbirds and bees and ants LIVE in this plant all summer long.
It's about 8 years old and is yellow with orange spots on it. It's taller than me (I'm 5'6) and about 4ft wide in spread.

You may have a sterile cultivar. Normally Canna seeds would be harvested when the pod is nice and crispy, and the seeds themselves are at least the size of a good-sized pea if not bigger.
Can you post a picture of the flowers? I'll be able to tell you then whether what you've got belongs to one of the sterile groups.
