potting lily of the valleys

I am looking for some guidance on potting lily of the valleys and forcing them to flower around June.
I read where you can dig up the bulbs around Sep - soak the bulb in warm water and then snip 1 inch off of the root.
Then plant them in a pot with the top barely sticking out.

I want to know how I can get these plants to flower around June for my sister's wedding.

Actually you maybe could but why don't you visit a commercial greenhouse nearby and inquire about the process. They would be better suited and why would you want to save money and not have what you sought.
