Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep grass away.

Hello does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep grass away from growing into my double knockout rose shrubs. I just planted some double knock out rose shrubs in my backyard and the grass in my backyard is growing and taking over my double knockout roses. I put some mulch around them to see if that would help my knockout roses but there still is grass growing into them.

Remove the mulch and put dowmn woven weed barrier. I beleive you can get any size at HD cut to order.
