Help identifying white flowering shrub?

Hello all! A co-worker has a shrub (at least that's what we think it is) growing in her yard and has been for years. She does not know what the name of it is and we have been researching online to no avail. Can anyone help identify? She says she remembers this growing in her grandmother's yard as well. The flowers are very small and look like tiny carnations almost. Thank you in advance for any help!!

Could you share a little more information, such as the overall size of the shrub? It may be that we'll have to see additional photos after it leafs out, also.

It would also help ... well, it would help my old eyes, anyway  ... if you could provide clearer pics.

The pics you have posted remind me of Campanula 'White Wonder', but that plant doesn't get very large, maybe 18" to 24" at maturity. I gather your shrub is quite a bit larger?

Sorry about the blurry pics hopefully these are better! The plant grows to a height of 6'-8' and has a diameter of about the same. The little white flowers are just under 1/2"

Excellent! Thank you! Those pics are much clearer ! :D

I'll see if I can ID it for you, although someone else may recognize it right off. :)

It's a Spirea, but I'm having trouble pinning down the exact species. It's looking to me most like Reeves Spirea, aka Double Bridal Wreath Spiraea (Spiraea cantoniensis).
