silver mound

Tell me about silver mound...should I be pruning those seed shoots off? My plants are huge by the way. Is there any issue with pruning back the front to make it grow at the back?

Sometimes 'Silver Mound' can die out in the center and needs to be divided. That is best done in spring. Cutting them back to about 2" in the fall will help keep them compact and bushy.
