Honeysuckle pruning.

I have a prolific Honeysuckle which a Blackbird nests in each year but the Honeysuckle is begining to get much to large. I want to ensure that I don't take away the Blackbirds nesting area for next spring so when should I cut the Honeysuckle back?

Prune in late winter.

It is best to prune honeysuckle in the winter it has more flowers in the spring that way they sure smell nice
