Moving Penstemon

I planted it too close to a new rhubarb plant, and now the rhubarb is getting huge and crowding/shading the penstemon.

It's plenty cool and foggy right now, but the penstemon is blooming. Should I move it now or wait until fall?

Well yes, trimming the rhubarb makes sense. I just can't believe how big this dang rhubarb is getting. I bought it from a clearance bin and planted it late, but it seems to love living in my garden. I just hope it leaves some room for a few other plants!
