Please identify my mystery flower -- Zebra Mallow

My wife and I purchased one of these flowers about 10 years ago from a greenhouse which has since gone out of business. The original flower got winter killed about 4 years ago but some of the newer plants survived. it is a beautiful flower which when full grown is about 2 ft tall and usually blooms from mid summer to late fall. We would like to find someone who can identify it so we can tell some of our friends and relatives what it is.

Thanks

It looks to me like Zebra Mallow ... Malva sylvestris 'Zebrina'. :)

Thanks Kisal for the quick reply. I believe you are 100% correct. In researching it further I find that it is Malva sylvestris 'Zebrina' (Dwarf Hollyhock). The latter being what most people in this region call it. My wife simply loves it. So much so that we (I) will be planting more now that it has been identified. Thanks so much for the good info.

The leaves look like hollyhocks or a mallow of some sort!

Does that grow from seed? Anybody know where the seed can be purchased? Thanks.

Sorry, but forgot to say I had that years ago in my garden, and collected seeds, still have them. But I imagine they are way too old to try starting now. About 10 yrs old!

I have loads of these in my landscaping. They are called Zebra Hollyhocks.
