Care of variegated & non-variegated forms of same plant?

Hi

Do the needs of a species vary according to whether they are the variegated or non-variegated form of the plant? e.g. Light levels required.

...because I am trying to decide the best locations to plant a variegated form, and a normal/non-variegated form, of Pandorea jasminoides.

Thanks :)

In general, variegated forms tend to need more light, because they have less chlorophyll area. But your plant, bower vine, is a full sun plant anyway, so I don't know how you could have more light than that.

It's in the same family with my trumpet creeper, so I'm guessing (I'm not familiar with your plant, which is only hardy to zone 9) that means your vine is very vigorous and adaptable.
