Tulip question
When do tulips start to blossom? I planted a bulb and got some beautiful green shoots out of it but that was all. Now some of leaves are staring to sag but there is no sign of a flower?

I'm in Ohio and my tulips have bloomed and now the flowers are starting to fade....
If you are in spring, your tulips likely aren't going to bloom. Hybrid tulips often don't last very long. They don't manage to store enough food the previous year to be able to bloom the following year, so they send up foliage but don't bloom. Frequently tulips need to be replaced every couple years to keep having a good show of spring blooms.
