Direct Seed Sowing

I'm new to gardening and I recently acquired some seeds the other day from a friend.

Mixed Petunia
Mixed Wildflower
Tennessee Coneflower
Mexican Hat
Coreopsis Grandiflora
Mixed Coneflower
Mixed Morning Glory

I would like to direct sow the seeds in different areas of my back yard. I am in Zone 6b (Staten Island, NY) My evenings are in the high 40Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s to low 50Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s and days are in the high 60Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s low 70Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s right now. Can I sow them directly into the ground? My Winter sowing projects went well but my indoor sowing not too good.

Are they in separate pouches or all mixed together?!

IMO you can sow directly in the ground. Just follow instructions on packet.
I would mark the spots where you plant too so you can find the spots for watering, which you'll need to do regularly at the start.

I've had a lot of good luck with planting perenials from seed packets. Have fun!
