Yellow Fortnight Lillies not doing so well...

I planted 3 yellow fortnight lillies two summers ago. I live in Northeast Florida (zone eight). None have bloomed and one of the lillies hasn't grown or expanded much compared to the day I planted them. There's a lot of dead/brown leaves and the green leaves seem to pull out easy (maybe that's what they do anyway). They get sun from ~11 am to sunset. They get watered indirectly from the sprinkler twice a week and then directly once a week (with the hose). I'm new at this gardening thing and I would appreciate your help. I also tried Miracle Gro but no improvement. Any ideas for a wet behind the ears gardener? :?

Sometimes it can take up to three years for lilies to produce flowers so, I would not get to excited just yet. Gardening is sometimes a waiting game.
