iris question

:D Hi, I have two baskets full of iris plants that where removed from the ground three weeks ago but now have 1/4 inch of snow so how do I store them for next years planting ?

I would pot them up in a good potting mix, and store the containers in a cool place where they''ll be protected from freezing. It might also work to store them in a cool place in a container of old sawdust or sand. You just need something to help protect the rhizomes from dehydration. :)
