Ways to Store Dahlias?

Hi...is there any other way to store dahlias; other than in a bin with peat moss? Zone #5, so I have to lift them.

Doesn't have to be a bin, it can be just a paper bag. Doesn't have to be peat moss, can be sand, shredded newspaper... You just want to keep them dry and insulated and not touching each other.
