Peonies

Hello...I.m in Zone # 5

Can I transplant peonies now? Would it be better in the Spring ?

Yes, I think it would be fine to transplant them now. I just transplanted some of my own, in fact. :)

It is a good time to transplant peonies. We did the year before last around this time, and they are all thriving! However, peonies hate to be moved, so don't be disappointed if they do not bloom for 1-3 years. Our first year they didnt and we got 2 blooms (out of 15) this year, but the they are healthy, green and bushy so hopefully next year,,,,
