Yellow Loosestrife Turning Brown - How Can I Save it?

My wife and I planted a yellow loosestrife(alexander) about 6 weeks ago in out island bed. It grew very fast and started branching out well and then started turning brown and wilting....we have had a moderate amount of rain and we hate to lose this beautiful plant....please advise.

If it is in full sun and wind no matter how much rain you get it will still dry out. If it is windy move into a pot into a protected area.
