Please help ID this flower.

I've had this lovely flower for years, and have don't know its name. I'm in Iowa and it is blooming right now. It has a small bulb, about the size of a pearl onion. Generates new bulbs, and this year it didn't bloom too much because the bulbs were so crowded. Likes sun / part sun.

Many thanks to you for any help

I think it might be Allium moly.

It has a little bulb like an onion, because it is in the same family with onions and garlic.
