Please tell me what would be pretty.

Please Tell me what perennials to plant. This flowerbed is about 10 feet long (from column to column) and a little over 3 feet wide. It gets full sun and I'm in zone 7. I'd rather not plant anything that will grow taller than 1.5 feet. I'm willing to remove the monkey grass but would rather not since its an evergreen. I like pink, yellow and purple. PLEASE HELP MEE!!!!!

What season do you want blooms? Right now, my iris are blooming. Purple iris might look very nice there, but they aren't a year-round plant.

You could plant a low-growing shrub of some sort. (Click on the underlined name to see a picture of the plant and read about it.)

Better yet, go to this site ... NGA Plant Finder, fill in the blanks, and see what comes up. You might see a plant you'd like to try out. :)

The lirope will keep spreading until it takes over whatever you plant (at least here, it would). I just tore out yards of that stuff this spring and it still keeps sticking its head up here and there.
