Can you tell me what this plant is? Several are coming up in a shady area. We live in Virginia, not far from the mountains. Think these were planted, not wild.

Its most definitely of the Hyacinth genus.... If you have any bulb catalogs from last fll try finding a match.

Looks to me like a "wild" hyacinth -- Camassia scilloides
Their called that but bulbs are sold in garden stores.
