cutting back ground cover for winter

Does any cut back, lamium, creeping phlox, seedum, flowering thyme and dianthus in the fall

The only plant I have of those on your list is dianthus. I do cut it back.

I just leave em. Let nature take it's course. Clean them up in the spring. Kinda gives them a bit of protection during the winter.

Thanks everyone.
Last year, I left them and they were a mess to clean up. So this year I'm going to cut em back and see. I'll cover them all with 2" sweet peat to insulate them
