Greetings, We bought a few pounds of rice grass. Have you planted this , did you scarify the seeds. What conditions did you plant in? I'd be happy for any tips. Thanks

Did you plant rice, wild rice, or rice plant. Rice is in the grass family and rice plant is an ornamental in a different family and is not edible.
I do have a friend that plants rice in a pot. It needs to be kept constantly moist, even flooded at times. It also needs to have bird netting over it since the rice birds will strip it.
