What is the light color on top of the soil? is that perlite, or mold?

As before, looking good but crowded.

For future reference, I'm thinking your broccoli is a little behind schedule. I start broccoli indoors a month earlier than I start the tomatoes. That is because the broccoli goes in the ground a month before the last frost date. It is very cold hardy and frost tolerant, but does not do well once it gets hot.

Thanks all, The white stuff is some kind of mold. It has not bothered anything yet. I will definately get a handle on when to start what before it's over with (LOL).

1 Tbsp hydrogen peroxide to 1 qt water. spray your dirt. That can cause bad things in your plants

Indygardener, Is it ok if I get some of the peroxide mixture on the stems or will it hurt them?
