Peach pit
Ok I have had a peach pit sitting here on my desk for a couple weeks and I am going to play around with trying to get it to grow. Anybody have any tips for getting a peach to sprout.
Take your peach pit (and 50 of its bretheren) fresh from chewing on it and plant it shallowly in a daffodil paper-white pan filled with 1/2 graniute chicken scratch and 1/2 sifted bark mulch.
Place a plank on top of the paper-white pan and place it in your garden. peaches will germinate next spring.
As a rule never dry tree seeds.
