Fall sown perennials, annuals - suggestions?

I would love suggestions for seeds I can sow this fall to fill in my new garden beds. I'm in Seattle area, zone 8. I've just put in 1000 sq ft of new beds (good-bye grass)! These beds are in full sun.
I've been accepting friends' perennial divisions, and will be putting in some shrubs, roses, and evergreens for structure. I also have been budgeting for perennials and bulbs that are less complicated to purchase as live stock.
Seeds I already have on hand are: cosmos, coneflowers, lupines, calendulas, asters, yarrow, oriental poppies, gypsophila, lychnis. I love a riot of color, and I love the full perennial garden/cottage garden type of look. I'm interested in sedges and grasses, too. I know some things will wait til spring, like my new roses.
This project has been great fun! I look forward to your ideas. :-()
