Pinto beans

Hi all,
I want to grow pinto beans but am having a hard time finding the pinto bean seeds. If I get a bag of pinto beans from the grocery store, and soak them for 24hrs before I plant them will they sprout?
Thanks,
Paul :?

They should! :) Just to be sure, though, try and find organic ones.

While cleaning out the cubbie last year and found some what I thought to be old lentels. Tossed and mixed them in a small soil bed, thinking that it would be good for the soil... This spring four plants of what I believe to be lentels appeared, due to having one seed attached to the leave emerging. We didn't have a very cold winter but I believe gundoneblue, you too will have success, I find that Calico beans are a very close runner up to pintos, taste about the same.
