Should I use Alaska Fish Fertilizer when potting seeds. I seen alot of reviews online about the product just wasn't sure if I should use it when starting my seeds or not.

Seeds don't need fertilizer to germinate. I usually wait until a week or so after they have sprouted before I give them their first feed at 1/4 strength.

Thank you I might try to sprinkle some on my week old plants. See how good it works.

The usual advice is to dilute it to 1/10 the strength recommended on the label. I use seed starting mix containing compost and don't even think about fertilizing them until after the first true leaves are growing.

...and actualy, I generally up pot them at that point in slightly richer potting mix so I don't have to....
