Indoor Onion Starts - Use a Fan?

I will be starting my onions from seed indoors for the first time soon. I usually place an oscillating fan on the rest of my seedlings as they grow to help the stems get strong. Is this something that I should do to my onions as well?

Thanks!

if you see the seedlings all the time you can just rub your hand over the seedlings lightly. also when they get pretty tall and lanky, you can cut the tips off to help sturdy them too. just don't do it too often.

Above it all correct, but to answer your question directly, no, I have rarely used a fan when I start onions, leeks etc from seed. It won't hurt them, they just don't require it.
