Pumpkin pie on the sly and great seeds!

The price of canned pumpkin is sky high and even pumpkins are not cheap. Along comes the best alternative to pumpkin and maybe even tastier the Hubbard squash. This squash can grow to a huge size and is great for pies. The seeds are great to start for next years surprise crop and they grow very well! Not only the hubbard but most squash make gook pies and the seeds are worth more that the squash! Here is a recepie for hubbard pie from a Pa. !
Just dry the seeds and plant them directly into the ground and you will get several squash per plant! The squash even comes in different colors! Great taste even baked with butter!
