terrific info for seed starters

This page lets you link to the data base set up a Cornell extension site to either vegetables or flower data. Note that the herbs are under flowers. The listings include range of days to germination, germination temperatures, time of year (cool, warm hot climate plants) as well as general planting info. This is what seed packages could have on them if they were as big as 8x10 and the print was small. Note for those of you that were familiar with this site before this is the new web address for it after Cornell consolidated their sites this year:

I love this site, since NY has so many different first and last frost dates, it doesn't give a specific date but rather one related to frost dates.
