I have some Sumter Cucumber starts, and they have sprouted about 1 1/2 inches in 4 days. When should I transplant them?

Have they developed any true leaves yet? Are they getting too big for their pots? What's the weather like during the day and night? Remember, if you started them under the lights they need about a week of "hardening off" before they can go out in the garden.

If the weather isn't right, and they're getting big, you can always uppot them until the weather cooperates!

Since I'm not in FLA and the weather didn't cooperate, I am finally bringing mine out today to start hardening off... they are huge and covered in flower buds!

Okay thanks! Well the weather is about 90 degrees in the day and around 78 morning and late night. I started them right on my back porch, and they are in direct sunlight, outside. And True leafs are what?

True leaves are everything except the first pair of seed leaves. When the seed first germinates, it sends up a pair of cotyledons (seed leaves) which are differently shaped than the regular leaves of the plant. After that it starts making the regular (true) leaves and never has any more seed leaves.

Hope yours do well! I'm doing the same here, as well. This will be their first night out all day and at night until I got to bed, it's also a bit of a windy day. I hope they end up alright!
