Hello all,

I have never done lettuce before, I recently moved it to my hydroponic system, it just passed the rooting stage, it has grown plenty inside the hydroponic system. It has not gotten leggier (that was in the germ. stage it got that way, my other plants sometimes do too - lighting).

Anyway, it has made great progress. Does it look horrible? Will it make it? Is this lettuce ? It's simpson blend, or should be but I have had bad seeds before...

I don't even know what it should look like. Going by my other plants it looks okay but lettuce is different.

Any info?

In the last picture, the far right seedling looks like lettuce. The middle seedling looks like it maybe a brassica.

The first picture looks like you are growing in peanut butter. The seedling looks a little yellow, but that just maybe your lighting.

Ok good. The brassica is just mixed in ,my seed pack is contaminated, I knew that since last time you told me that.

Okay, so the other is lettuce. Good all the ones I transplanted into "peanut butter" are lettuce.

That is actually grodan cubes which are like rockwool. Camera quality may not be beautiful. They are not yellow, must be quality, let me show a better pic, should of done this to start:

These are higher quality. Maybe my lighting is just bad. I use natural light for my other plants, including peppers and they pretty much do okay. Maybe lettuce is just light hungry? You think these can survive like this or am I going to need to get a lighting rig to prevent them from dying and/or to start over?
