is there a way to save leggy seedlings?

Despite my best efforts, I did not get my snazzy new shelf and lights set up before my seeds sprouted. The lights are going up today, but some of my seedlings are already 2 or 3 inches tall. Is there anyway I can get them out of their cells and replant them, burying the bottom inch or 2? Or should I give up on these and start new ones from seed? (It's not like I don't have a bunch of seed, I went a little wild at the garden center...)

Up-pot and bury deeper. Should be no problem.
