Random plants ideas to sell?

I am getting 3 acres of land in the next few weeks I just need to choose what to grow? I will be selling everything I grow online.

I have always messed around with plants mainly fruit trees and bushes, I managed to graft one once using a kitchen knife and gaffa tape, I turned my stella cherry tree into about 30 just by using a hack saw to cut it down and then planted the branches, I don't think they would be stella cherry trees but I could sell them for the roots to grafters maybe? How hard is it to do this? Most things I do just happen by chance I figure if I plants lots of branches at least one will grow but is there a way of getting everything to grow right or is it just random?

I like the idea of fruit trees, bushes etc. I like roses bushes I have done cuttings of those to, I just got 12 from tesco just the heads and leaves off and planted them and a few got roots.

I have done Dorset naga chillies here in the UK by getting the chillies and picking out the seeds and planting them. I am looking for some good ideas of what to plant but plants that would be worth about $10 this would be worth sending out by post?

I have never done anything else apart from cutting down branches and planting them or picking seeds out of fruits and veg I have never used plant food or anything like that.

If anyone has done anything like this before or knows some good plants that sell well and are quite easy to grow please get in touch any other ideas are also welcome, I am not in a rush to sell anything so plants that take a while to grow are welcome, I just want to know the best way to monetize the space I have but cool plants not your everyday farm stuff like sprouts

Thanks

Cuttings made from above the graft are true to the parent so your stellas should be stellas but the roots are an unknown. You should concentrate on old varieties (out of patent) and plants that are normally grown from cuttings or seed. Many trees, shrubs, and roses are. Miniature roses are often cuttings and rugosa roses can be grown from seed.

Just a thought to throw out.....Growing native plants/shrubs is becoming more the trend now, so you may look at varieties in this category. People are looking for perennials, shrubs and trees that would be native to one's locale.

This might be a marketing idea more than a what to plant idea but would you consider throwing a social or instructional event for your customers via YouTube? A person called voodoo gardener or something like that has accidentally had an overly successful seed swap on his challenge this year. Yes you might invite customers to bringin something that you may already have for sale on accident but it also might give you a chance to see what your customers are interested in finding.

You also might look into what it costs for shipping plants and the different laws there. If you check out etsy.com the site has some successful garden shops on it and you might find some ideas of what will sell off of what has been sold there. For instance I'm seeing a rise in the sales of goji berry seeds for one shop and I know that two of my local gardening friends have purchased goji berry plants off of on line stores.

I'm surprised Susan didn't mention it, but I think there's pretty high demand for herbs of all varieties, including medicinal as well as culinary.

I would do bare root roses. You could also work on creating new colors and stuff. Roses sell for a ton of money to and sell quick. You could also open a little shop on the land for all types of plants that you could start from seed.
