Thanks for the link. I loved this book when we read it together. Yes, it is about simple, "no-work" gardening (like Ruth Stout, whom you might also enjoy reading), working with nature.

Thank you! I just looked up Ruth Stout, never heard of her before, definitely will read her books, do you recommend a particular one.

I just love Ruth Stout! My ambition is to be like her.

I'm not sure it matters much which of her books you read, I think they are all pretty much the same, with her mulch, don't plow, no poisons, no work message.

I somehow picked up this old post. Wow, right up my alley, love this stuff.
I watched the video about making roofing shingles out of tin cans.
A neat idea although I don't like the sharp edges.
My artist friend makes airplanes and other art adventures out of tin cans.
