Cookies, fun day in the kitchen.
I mixed up cookies according to instructions on the package. Microwave 1/2 jar of peanut butter then stir into the cookie dough with 2 tablespoons of water. Flatten cookies with potato masher. Bake 10 minutes it made 29 cookies.

That potato masher works great. I use a fork because my potato masher doesn't look anything like that.
I started making a dessert for tomorrow's Christmas eve party with my family. It is a jello cheesecake dessert. It has a short bread cookie base layer, the middle layer is cream cheese, lime jello, whipped cream, and sugar. The top layer is 3-3 oz packages of strawberry gelatin, a package of plain gelatin, and water. It takes 8 hours to make because the layers need to set. The shortbread cookie is simple, flour, butter, brown sugar and chopped nuts. Pressed into a 9x13 pan and baked at 350 degrees F. until the edges started to brown.
