Pickling cucumbers ok to eat raw?

What I am getting at is whether they taste good before getting pickled..... I have some that are the right size to pickle or can, but I am not prepared to do either, yet......

Pickling cucumbers taste fine when eaten raw... They can sometimes have more bitterness around the stem than other types of cucumbers. I cut that off, or peal them. Usually both.

Ditto!

I think they actually have MORE flavor than some of the larger cukes.
