Worlds Best Cinnamon Rolls

After a long search making and testing many recipes this is by far the best Cinnamon Roll Recipe. This recipe came from a TV show called, Americans Test Kitchen.

Dough. The TV show mixed everything in a bowl. I used a bread maker machine it makes it 95% easier. Mix everything except the flour and yeast in a bowl then pour the liquid into the bread maker. Add the flower then put the yeast in last. Set the bread maker for dough only. 1 hour 30 minutes later the dough is finished. Roll it out on a flour surface 1/4" thick, 20" by 32".

4.5 cups of All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons of yeast
1 cup of warm milk
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/3 cup of melted butter
3 eggs

==================================================================

Sugar Cinnamon mixture. Melt the butter then pour it on the dough, spread evenly over the whole dough. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon at medium speed 60 seconds in a bowl. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the dough. Roll the dough up from the long side when finished rolling it should be 32" long. Pinch the edge to keep the dough from unrolling. Cut dough into to 1 3/4" long pieces. Coat the baking dish with butter. Stand the pieces on end in the baking dish 1" between pieces. Coat the cut ends with butter. Let the dough rise in a warm place until double in size or a little bit larger. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Cost the tops of the hot rolls with butter.

2/3 cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter

==================================================================

Glaze. Add enough water to the sugar to make a thin white glaze about as thick as honey. Drizzle the glaze over the top of the hot cinnamon rolls and spread evenly.

1 1/2 cups of powder sugar
2 tablespoons of water

==================================================================

I bet you can't eat just one.

That's cruel since I'm seriously considering a diet--------------------right after I make some cinnamon rolls.

Isn't it easier to go on a diet after an unhealthy consumption of high caloric food?

More cinnamon rolls today. I reduced the recipe by 1/3.

CINNAMON ROLLS. 2/3 cup milk, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/3 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 eggs, whip with mixer until sugar dissolves and it gets fluffy like whip cream then pour it into your bread maker. Add 3 cups sifted bread flour to bread maker. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon of yeast top center of flour. Set bread maker on dough and push start. FILLING. 2/3 cup dark brown sugar, 1/4 cup All Purpose flour, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, sift 2 times. 1/2 cup melted butter. 1 cup chopped pecans. Roll dough out 15" x 24". Spread the melted butter over the dough. Sprinkle the brown sugar cinnamon mixture over the dough. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the dough next. Roll up along the long edge. The roll should be 24" long if not pull it to the correct length. Cut into 2" pieces. Place cut pieces on a greased cookie sheet let them rise in a warm place until double in size then bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven then coat all the rolls with melted butter. CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING. 1 cup powder sugar, 1/4 cup Hershey's cocoa, sifted together add enough milk to make a thick paste.
