That's neat. We ate our last tomatoes the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I have never before had any keep until Thankdgiving.

Are you gonna cave in and buy store tomatoes? I get the stemmed ones when I'm about to freak out. Not bad, but NOT REAL TOMATOES !

I was digging around in the deep freeze yesterday and realized I still have two 1-gal bags of whole frozen Yellow Bell tomatoes! 8) Hmm... Now what to make with them.... Good many other other frozen garden treasures too. Our new freezer has dividers and sliding top trays and one of the trays was covering up two sections dedicated to garden harvest. :D

I canned 110 quarts of tomatoes last season, I'll have enough whole tomatoes, and tomato sauce to get me through until my new tomatoes are ready this summer.
