Red Currants?

Anyone have any favorite uses for fresh Currants beside the obvious jelly?

I've had them as a compote, served with chicken (would be good with pork, too), sort of like whole-berry cranberry sauce. I've also had them in muffins. :)

Thanks, I'll have to look into that compote idea. There's such a high percentage of seeds in Currants that I am having a hard time coming up with anything suitable.
