Gardening gifts/books for a 70 year old man

Hey all,

My big man's turning 70 in a month and want to get him a gardening related gift along with some other gifts. I know he loves his garden and spends as much time as he can out there. He has a few bonsai's so thought about something along those lines.

Anyone any good gift ideas or books that are must reads?

I've been looking for a while and have come across a few ideas, thinking either another bonsai (seen bonsaidirect.co.uk have some lovely ones) or maybe a something like these personalised gardening gloves?https://www.personalise.co.uk/gardening-gifts , or a decent book (though I know he's got loads already but hasn't bought anything new for a good year)

Hmm decisions decisions. If you have any books that are good let me know and I'll sneak a look see if he's got them

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of getting a massager instead or an appointment with a masseuse.
Really anything that makes gardening more comfortable. like raised boxes, gardening cushions and seats. If he has bonsai maybe get a catalog and have him pick out something a pot or specialty tool. Bonsail plants are hard to select and fewer people want to go out and dig a 40 year old stump up and then take the time to reduce it.

Bag balm, glove conditioner for leather gloves, ergonomic tools, or just get a nice chair and table set so he can sit and relax afterwards and enjoy the view.

Or get a subscription to one of the bonsai magazines
