2010 Summer Book Club Selection

Book Discussion News #1:
It will be either Gardening at the Dragon's Gate: At Work in the Wild and Cultivated World - Here is a book review of it. The comments over on Amazon are all positive.

Or:

The One Straw Revolution

Any preferences? 8)

Book Discussion News #2:
The next book selection later this summer, after whichever book we pick above, will be the revised edition of "Bringing Nature Home: How You can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants. I am making arrangements with the publisher so as to be able to offer the book at a significant discount, even cheaper than Amazon. Once those arrangements are made I will make the announcement of that book as the next selection.

No way Dix; after all that racket you made on the other thread?

You'se gotta vote. Or else...

And I want to see a bunch of other opinions here as well. The mods will stay out of this until y'all have spoken; this here is a thread of, by and for the people... in the spirit of true democracy, let your voice be heard!

Alright FINE! I've thought it over and would like to vote for OSR. I think it will be a better conversation starter and perhaps more controversial as not every single review everywhere for it is positive.
Though I'm still gonna read the other book :>

Aaah! I'm having the same problem as Dixana. I wanted to read OSR, but the Johnson book sounds awesome. I also plan to order both! (I'm going on vacation next week and need plenty to read.)
So either would be fine with me, but I suppose I will cast my vote for OSR.

I ordered both books, they should be here Wed or Thurs....
How long are we waiting for more people to vote?
I've been patient and haven't posted in a week!
